Tap the Voice icon in the message bar (mobile or web) to speak with ChatGPT and hear spoken replies. The Live option listens and speaks at once for natural turn-taking and can use web search and memory; Advanced adds video and screen sharing on mobile; Standard transcribes each turn. Switch modes and pick from voices like Cove or Juniper in Settings > Voice.

Voice is metered by plan over a rolling 24-hour window — Free gets limited GPT-Live-1 mini time, and a single Live conversation caps at 2 hours. Voice uses your device time zone for "today" and "tomorrow," so answers can be off if your zone is wrong.
